Mahj for Good
-
These events work best when a good share of your guest list already plays. Guests who don’t play are welcome for the cause and the company (or to come learn from some of your other attendees). If your list is full of curious beginners, ask about adding Learn & Give, a short primer before play begins.

No. Rainey Day Mahj specializes in social play: relaxed tables, a friendly pace, and a host to keep the room moving. If you want light prizes or a raffle, we’re happy to build them in. But nobody’s playing under a clock, and we don’t monitor scorekeeping.
-
We partner with verified 501(c)(3) organizations.
-
We provide the mahjong: tiles, mats, racks, cards, and hosted facilitation from first tile to last. You handle the venue, the guest list, ticketing, decor, and any food and drink. Other vendors, like caterers or your venue, work directly with you.
-
Our standard formats cover groups from about 12 to 80 players. Larger events add facilitators, so every table is supported and no one waits on a question. Expecting more than 80 players? We’ve got you covered! Let’s talk about how to bring your vision to life!
-
Most events run two to three hours, depending on the format, with time built in for a welcome and a wrap-up, if you want the room’s attention for your cause.
-
The facilitation fee is scoped to your format and guest count. Tell us your fundraising goal, who’s coming, and what you’re envisioning, and we’ll build a quote that makes sense for the event you’re planning.
